The login process for all Espresso platforms (Espresso website, Espresso Mobile App, Binge) can be covered in 2 simple steps as given below:
Step 1: To log in, enter your Mobile No., Email ID or Customer ID and then enter your Password. Then click on LOGIN.
Step 2: On clicking LOGIN, you will get a 6-digit OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID. Enter this OTP to log in to your Espresso account.
Instead of OTP, you can log in through the below mentioned steps.
For Mobile App - Bio-Metric Authentication (Face / Fingerprint Login)
Below are the steps to activate Face / Fingerprint Login:
Log in to your MOBILE APP > Hamburger/Side Menu > Settings > Authentication > Enable FINGERPRINT > Follow Further Activation steps
For Website & Binge - TOTP (Time Based OTP) generated on Microsoft / Google Authenticator Application.
Below are the steps to activate TOTP (Time Based OTP):
Login Page > Enter Login ID and password > Click on Login > USE TOPT
We send login credentials through email and SMS on the day of account opening. Do check your Junk and Spam folders too in case you cannot find the email.
Espresso also allows you to regenerate your password using your registered mobile number or email ID. Simply tap the Forgot Password button from the login page to regenerate your password and start trading!

As a security measure, our system locks your trading account if you enter your password incorrectly 3 consecutive times.
The online login password expires every 180 days. Tap here to generate a new login password. Passwords should contain minimum 8 alpha-numeric characters and at least one special character.
On the Espresso website/app, a session expires in case there is no activity on the trading screen for 4 hours. In case the session expires frequently, we request you to configure the following settings:
• Delete temporary Internet files from your browser by entering its settings, tapping Delete Files and then tapping Delete Cookies.• Enter your browser’s Privacy settings and go to the Advanced settings. Once there, select Override Automatic Cookie Handling.• Opt to accept first- and third-party cookies and select the Always Allow Session Cookies checkbox.
Request you to try logon to the website and access your account. Further, we also request you to update below mentioned settings if you are getting session expired at your end: Tools >; Internet options >; privacy >; Move the SLIDER to 'MEDIUM' and then Click on 'Apply' and then 'OK '.
The online login password expires every 180 days. The TPIN password expires every 90 days

TPIN is short for Transaction Personal Identification Number which is a secret PIN generated for every Beneficial Owner by the depository. Clients can generate TPIN through Espresso platforms. Alternately, one can generate TPIN on CDSL website in a few steps.
The option to remove/ deactivate TOTP is available in the authenticator app.
From Google authenticator, long press on the 6 digits code. Then it will show a delete tab on top right-side corner. In Microsoft authenticator, remove option is available in the settings tab.
No, M-pin option is not available anymore on the Espresso Mobile App. Instead, you may use Fingerprint option (for Android devices) or Face scanning option (for iOS devices) to avoid the OTP process for login.
The OTP generated for login is valid for the entire day; however, it can be used only for a single login session. Once the session expires or you are logged out due to any reason, a new OTP must be generated.
