Gateway Distriparks Limited is the only logistics facilitator in the whole of India with three verticals that are synergetic and capable of being interlinked – Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICD) with rail movement of containers to major maritime ports and Cold Chain Storage and Logistics. GDL operates two container freight stations at Navi Mumbai, one at Chennai, one at Krishnapatnam, one at Kochi and one at Visakhapatanam, with a total capacity of over 600,000 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units).

GDL's rail operations are handled by a subsidiary, Gateway Rail Freight Limited (Gateway Rail). Gateway Rail provides inter-modal logistics and operates its own inland container depots / dry ports.

The third vertical consists of cold chain logistics solutions out of 31 warehouses in India through the subsidiary, Snowman Logistics Limited, in which Mitsubishi and IFC (World Bank) are investors.

  • Net Sales at Rs 313.80 crores in Dec 2020 | Up 4.98% from Rs 298.93 crores in Dec 2019.
  • Quarterly Net Profit (incl. minority int) at Rs 32.75 crores in Dec 2020 | Up 98.3% from Rs 16.51 crores in Dec 2019.
  • Gateway Distriparks approved the payment of second interim dividend of Rs.2 a share of face value Rs.10 each for the financial year 2020-21 to shareholders. The record date for the interim dividend has been fixed as Jan 6, 2021. In Oct 2020, Gateway Distriparks had announced the first interim dividend of Rs.2 a share.
  • Gateway Rail Freight, the logistics arm of Gateway Distriparks, said that the commissioning of the new section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor would help in a "significant" reduction in its trains’ transit times.
  • As per the management of Gateway Distriparks, the route between Palanpur (Gujarat) to Pipavav is expected to be operational by the end of Sept/Oct 2021 (with electric traction), while the Mundra port connectivity is expected to lag Pipavav by a few months.
  • Adani Logistics has almost exited its stake in Snowman Logistics, which it had acquired through open offer in Mar 2020.
  • GDL’s board has approved the reverse merger of the standalone entity into its subsidiary Gateway Rail Freight Ltd. (GRFL).
  • GDL raised Rs.116 crores via rights issue and fund proceeds have been utilised for prepayment of NCDs.
  • Gateway Distriparks announced its board has approved to explore various structures for streamlining the businesses currently being carried out by different group entities.
